Nyungwe National Park is managed by African Parks in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB). A non-profit conservation organisation, African Parks takes on responsibility for the rehabilitation and long-term management of protected areas in partnership with governments and local communities. It currently manages 23 national parks and protected areas in 13 countries. RDB is the government agency responsible for managing Rwanda’s national parks and protected areas.
